Pyromorphite, Bad Ems, Germany
A Rare specimen of well-crystallized Pryomorphite from the Friedrichsegen Mine, Bad Ems, Nassau, Rhineland-Pfalz, Germany, closed since the late 1920's.
Pyromorphite is lead chlorophosphate, with a formula of Pb5(PO4)3Cl.
The name is from the Greek word pyr meaning “fire” and morphe, "form"
Measures 1 1/2 x 1 x 3/4 inches.
