Pyromorphite, Brown Barrel Crystals, Morocco

A very nice miniature specimen of brown barrel-shaped crystals of Pyromorphite from Touissit, Morocco.

Pyromorphite is Lead chlorophosphate, with a formula of Pb5(PO4)3Cl.
The name is from the Greek word pyr meaning “fire” and morphe, "form".

Measures 1 5/8 x 1 1/4 x 1/2 inches.
