A HUGE cluster of lustrous pale brown barrel-shaped prismatic Pyromorphite crystals forming parallel aggregates from a classic locale, Bad Ems, Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany.
Pyromorphite is lead chlorophosphate, with a formula of Pb5(PO4)3Cl.
The name is from the Greek word pyr meaning “fire” and morphe, "form".
Measures 6 5/8 x 6 1/4 x 3 1/2 inches.
