A sharp crystal cluster of brown barrel-shaped crystals typical of the species from the highly-sought after, defunct Bad Ems district, Rheinland-Pfalz, Germany.
Pyromorphite is lead chlorophosphate, with a formula of Pb5(PO4)3Cl. The name is from the Greek word pyr meaning “fire” and morphe, "form".
Measures 3.2 x 1.9 x 1.7 centimeters.
