Quartz "Pink Ice" Crystal, Himalaya Mountains
A large and beautiful crystal of Himalayan "Nirvana" or "Pink Ice" Quartz from Himachal Pradesh, Kullu Valley, Himalaya Mountains, India. These unusual Quartz crystals were discovered in late 2006 at over 18,000 feet elevation, where receding glacial ice exposed them. The crystals resemble the crevices and jagged ice which hid them.
