A large and aesthetic specimen of blue-green botryoidal Rosasite on a limonitic matrix from the famous Mina Ojuela, Mapimi, Durango, Mexico.
Rosasite is copper zinc carbonate, with a formula of (Ca,Zn)2CO3(OH)2. It is named after its type locality, the Rosas Mine, Sulcis, Sardinia, Italy.
