Stibnite with Calcite, China
A beautiful specimen of transparent and colorless, lustrous, highly modified rhombohedral calcite crystals jumbled together in loose groups with long-prismatic, metallic gray stibnite crystals from the Wuning Mine, Jiangxi Province, China. These specimens were written about in a Jan 1, 2010 Mineralogical Record article entitled "What's new in the mineral world?".
Measures 5 x 2.3 x 1.5 centimeters.
