A sharp thumbnail crystal of the rare gold-silver telluride mineral Sylvanite from the Emperor Gold Mine, Vatukoula, Viti Levu, Fiji.

Sylvanite, gold silver telluride, has a formula of (Au,Ag)2Te4. It was named for TranSYLVANia, for the part of Romania where it was first found.

Measures 0.8 x 0.1 x 0.1 centimeters.
