Wulfenite, Orange-red Crystals, Red Cloud Mine, AZ

A nice specimen with many very nice orange-red bladed Wulfenite crystals on matrix from the world-famous Red Cloud Mine in western Arizona.

Wulfenite is a Lead Molybdate, with a formula of PbMoO₄.
The name is in honor of the Austrian mineralogist Franz Xaver von Wulfen (1728-1805).

Measures 2 1/2 x 1 3/4 x 1 inches.
