Wulfenite, sharp single crystal, Tiger, Arizona

A beautiful single crystal of orange Wulfenite from the famed Mammoth-St. Anthony mine in Tiger, Arizona.

Wulfenite is a Lead Molybdate, with a formula of PbMoO4. The name is in honor of the Austrian mineralogist Franz Xaver von Wulfen (1728-1805).

Measures 2.2 x 1.6 x 0.2 centimeters.
